ANTA’s Request: To Donate Fund for Flood Victims in Terai/Madhesh( Reminder)

 The Association of Nepali Teraian in America (ANTA) is deeply concerned over loss of property and life due to flood disaster in Saptari, and other districts in Terai (http://www.onlinekhabar.com/2016/07/457590/. ANTA is committed to extend help to the people who are/have been hard hit by natural disaster or human violation. With the help of generous support from its donors, ANTA has always in the fore front to help the victims of natural disaster, whether it is earthquake or fire and flooding in Terai.  In 2015/2016, ANTA provided significant help in the earthquake affected region, ~$2,000 to help to the fire victims in Saptari district, ~$3,000 to help fire victims is recent months, and $9,000 for treatment of injured and some compensation for the aggrieved families in Teari.  ANTA extends words of appreciation to all who have donated to help the victims of natural disasters and human right violation in Nepal.
 
Considering flood hazards in Saptari and other places in Terai/Madhesh, there is immediate need of the help. Thus, ANTA requests you all, wherever you are, to donate, whatever you can, individually or through any organization, to help the flood victims in Terai/Madhesh.
 
Donation for the “ANTA’s Fund for Flood Victims in Terai” to support the victims of recent flood in Saptari and other districts in Terai can be made by the following means:

 ANTA is a 501 (3) C organization, and the donations made to ANTA are exempt from US taxes.
  • ANTA will mail you a payment receipt for use in your tax claims. Please include your address (email and or mailing address) when sending payment.
  • ANTA’s fund will be spent, either in person by ANTA representative or through a non-political organization(s) in Nepal, for providing reliefs to the families affected by flood in Saptari and other districts in Terai.
