It gives me a great pleasure to announce that the 1st General Convention of Madheshi Association in America (MAA) will be held on May 25-26, 2018 in New York, USA.

MAA is a non-political and non-profit organization engaged in the social, educational, economic, and cultural activities of the Madheshi people living in the USA and abroad. MAA is not only limited to Madheshi community but is also involved in the cooperation with the other non-political Nepalese and International organizations engaged in the welfare of their people, who are in urgent need of help for their basic need in terms of educational, social, and cultural advancement.

Although we live in America, footprints of our past are always in our heart and mind. Therefore, we established the MAA to serve the people living in Madhesh and Madheshi abroad in the world. We, together, change the social accomplishment of Nepal through our approach.

 MAA’s General Convention is an auspicious occasion where Madhesis from all walks of life living in America will exploit the opportunity to meet, greet and interact with fellow Madheshis and the people of different other geographical origins on relevant topics in different sessions. This is also a community event to celebrate our Madheshi cultural heritage.
