Young Nepali Writer Hosts Children’s Painting Event in New York, US

New York, July 26: Writer Chandani Lama is launching her first children’s book “Ram’s Adventure Part 1: Ram and The Monster” by hosting a children’s painting event in New York, the US on July 30.

The book is launching amidst a summer bbq picnic being held by Tamang Society of America at Queensbridge Park, New York. The picnic features several fun activities including bingo, a cultural display, fun games, and many others. In order to promote the book, the writer is
organizing a painting event for kids during the annual picnic event of Tamang Society of America. Children will be given pictures of Nepali characters and subjects to paint.

The event is supposedly going to be a grand one as it is expected to be attended by a huge mass of 200-500 people.

Sharing about the book, Lama informed that her book has been visioned as a series of children’s picture books. It is a story about a boy named Ram who is small but mighty. He learns about life and challenges from people and the environment around him.

“The book is dedicated to all the children of the world and is a message to be strong from the mind,” says Lama.

Further, she adds, “ Ram encounters a monster who is unbelievably bigger than the tween-aged kid. But through intelligence and courage, he overcomes the mighty monster. He saves his life and defends his village.”

“The story will teach the children and teens how intelligence is greater than strength”.
