Dear Community Members,
We, at Nepal Education and Cultural Center (NECC), are extremely saddened by the untimely
demise of Mrs. Sabitri Gajurel, beloved mother of NECC Member Mrs. Gauri Gajurel and
Mother-in-law of NECC Executive Committee Vice President Mr. Parashu Timalsina. She passed
away peacefully in the early morning of Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the age of 83 in
Lagankhel, Lalitpur, surrounded by her family members and relatives.
Late Mrs. Gajurel had been living in Lagankhel, Lalitpur and visited NECC premises multiple times.
She was born on April 15, 1939, in Maharajgunj Kathmandu, Nepal, and was married to Rammani
Prasad Gajurel. She was a very humorous, helpful, honest individual who was very supportive
towards NECC and community work. She is survived by her beloved husband, two sons, five
daughters, five sons-in-laws, two daughters-in-law, fifteen grandchildren, and five great
grandchildren.
Pashupati-Buddha Mandir prays for the eternal peace of the departed soul. NECC Team joins the
bereaved family to mourn during this difficult time and expresses their deepest sympathy and
heartfelt condolences for this irreparable loss.
